Inception

Unlike many of my wabi-sabi pieces, this one didn't start out as a photograph.  I used milk (yes, milk!) as a base then I created the shapes with ink, oil and paint. After I photographed it, I played with the colors in Photoshop and landed on these colors that made me think of land and water. I've had friends tell me some very interesting thoughts on what they saw in the shapes - what do you see?
