Swirls in Black and White

I love making a portrait of a single bloom, and my macro lens allowed me to explore the nuances of shapes, patterns, colors and textures in this dahlia. I was excited to find this bloom with all the swirling petals, and enjoy the abstract quality of the printed piece.
